Queer, Spiritual, and Unbothered

Image
In a world where institutions have long dictated what counts as sacred, queer folks are carving out their own paths back to power, and many are finding it in tarot decks, ancestral altars, and the flicker of candlelight over a spell jar. This isn’t trend chasing. It’s reclamation ✨ Traditional religion has often told LGBTQ+ people they were too much, not enough, or altogether wrong. Witchcraft doesn’t echo that rhetoric. It doesn’t ask for straight lines or narrow boxes. It embraces fluidity, duality, expansion 🌈 The occult says, “Come as you are, and bring all of you.” Mystical systems like tarot meet queer experience with flexibility and reflection. The High Priestess isn’t locked into femininity. The Lovers card isn’t a hetero exclusive contract. These archetypes become mirrors, not molds...allowing people to see their truths without compromise. And let’s be clear: queerness and magic go way back. Across continents and histories, queer and gender diverse people were often the keepe...

This Ring is Giving Congressional Energy

Image
I wasn’t trying to make a political statement when I crafted this ring, but art reflects the times. And baby, these times are twisted .  I was just in my flow, twisting and wrapping  my favorite wire  πŸ˜Š like I always do...letting my fingers guide me, trusting the tension and the release. No sketch. No blueprint. Just instinct. But when I stepped back and looked at the final piece, I had to laugh. Because somehow, this delicate knot of silver wire looks like the perfect metaphor for what we’re all living through right now. If you want a little chaos on YOUR finger... Treat Yourself A government so tangled, it’s hard to tell where the loop begins or ends. Each wire in this ring represents a decision, a voice, a consequence. Some turns are tight, some loose. Some wrap perfectly around others, while a few jut out like they don’t know what direction they’re headed. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Right now, every headline feels like another twist. Anothe...

A Quick Look At My Creative Flow

Image
You know that feeling when you find something in your house you completely forgot you owned, but it's beautiful and still so you ? That happened to me with this jewelry. I made these pieces with so much care, and then…just moved on. No launch, no post, no big reveal. Just quietly put them away. But the other day, I found them again and made this little video. Just to remind myself that I have been doing the work. That creativity doesn’t always need to be loud to be valuable. Sharing it here, on my blog, feels more personal than just dropping it on TikTok (although I DID drop it on TikTok 😊) So here it is: some forgotten-but-not-lost creations. From me, to me. And now, to you.  Love & Light Angela @ahngele3 Don't ask who these are for. Just know they fit ✨πŸ˜‰ I made them, and then tucked them away🀷🏾‍♀️ Just thought I'd give them their moment πŸ₯°πŸ’ ♬ original sound - cptlovee

Hey beautiful souls, Welcome to Ellie & Moss ❤ My cozy little corner of the internet where art meets energy, memory, and magic, and everything is wrapped in a vibe of intentional beauty. If we haven’t met yet, I’m Angela. Artist, maker, mood curator. I’m the hands (and heart) behind Ellie & Moss, where I create handcrafted jewelry, nostalgic musings, and small rituals to make everyday life feel a little more sacred. I started this blog because I wanted a space to slow down , reflect, and share behind the scenes of the work I love. Here you’ll find: Updates on my handmade jewelry collections Thoughts on creativity, spiritual living, and ancestral wisdom Cozy, nostalgic content (think 70s soul, Sunday morning coffee, and a whole lotta incense) Maybe even a recipe, a playlist, or a ramble or two when the mood strikes Ellie & Moss is more than a brand. It’s a feeling. A whisper back to yourself. A moment to remember where you came from, what you carry, a...
